Bedrock FC was founded in 1970 by Robert "Rob" Rubble who wanted to give the youth of the town an opportunity to play sport and live a healthier lifestyle. In truth he was getting frustrated with all the kids in the area distracting the sauropod dinosaurs who worked as cranes in his quarry and wanted something to occupy their time.
